Brooklyn Sunrise This morning I walked over six miles. I started at around 5:30 and saw the sunrise. I didn't take that picture but I see that lots of mornings. I came home had some coffee and toast even read the newspaper. I don't have class. I don't have to work. I don't feel like sleeping. I don't know what I'll do today. I will read a little bit. I'm not taking any classes this summer. I was going to but changed my mind.  I will catch up on Facebook even though I hardly do anything there. I'm a fat guy. I was a fat guy. I was a fat guy who worked so hard I was a skinny fat guy. Not really skinny. Just not as fat as other fatsos. I ate junk. Burgers, pizza, sub sandwiches (Subway is full of bullshit. My subs were almost as bad as McDonald's.) I worked my ass off pulling lumber. I got older and I started getting hurt on the job and was gaining my ass back fast. I started walking. Actually I started eating less food and was losing a little weight. No diets like only carbs. Hell no. I love carbs. I love protein too. Damn, give me a steak. This guy David Dane lost a helluvalotta weight by not doing any fancy bullshit diet so I thought I would try. It was no big deal. I just always left the meal a little hungry but not too much. I tried skipping meals and eating really tiny meals but I'm not a damn bird. I lost weight and still felt fat. Dane isn't really trying all that hard anymore and gained it all back because he still eats sugary shit . I don't. ...

Don't be a lemming. Turn off the  stupid talk radio. You just sound like an idiot spouting off their bitchiness. You follow these guys like some stupid lemming off of a cliff. Don't be asshole about cramming your bitching down my throat. You think the president made your life suck. So the president kicked your ass and so you are bending over like a prison wuss letting him run your life?  Fix your life. Don't blame Obama, Bush or bin Laden. Bush isn't president, Obama hasn't been one that long, and bin Laden is dead. Besides, your life probably sucked before Reagan was in office. Wanker. Get a job. I met Alberto. He used to a carpenter/handyman in Miami who moved up here in 2005 when his wife died. He is 74 and was a Cuban refugee in the early 1980s. I thought I would be the oldest in my classes and the only one who worked with his hands. This guy came here illegally on a boat, got refugee status and now is a citizen. He couldn't read Spanish when he got here, and now knows English. Now he wants to get a degree. He doesn't care what in. He just wants his grandkids to know they can do it if he can. I got to respect that. I really do. 

I'm looking around. I always do. People are bitter, bitchy, moaning, blaming everyone else for their miserable lives. They are miserable because improving their life takes risk, and risk scares them to death. So they choose to be bitter instead of happy. They yell about free they are but wear self-installed handcuffs thicker than Grant's Tomb. They howl about I need religion and lived scared. What's your politics or religion done for you? They whine about how religion is what causes all the unhappiness but how happy has their atheism made you? The Facebook politicians and bar stall economists are just as bad. They know what's wrong with this country but prefer to tell me than to get involved. No one really gives a shit that says they do. Well, some really do, but they never say anything about. They are too happy making a difference in their lives and the world.

I'm sitting in a cubicle at school looking up stuff. The kiddies are bopping to some Taylor Swift crap. Why not real music? Parliament - Give Up the Funk
